The steel line at a glance
Prestressed steel strand is the leading steel product on this site, and its series page quotes the MIC product page table for the 1x7 series. Prestressed concrete wire and anchorage appear as listed names on their own pages, without specification tables, because the source pages list them without detail. Cable bolt strand and precision rolled threaded steel, known on the source pages as rock bolt bar, appear on this index only as names from the mining and geotechnical application area.
The metal-ceramic material in the steel line is handled with special care. It appears on the official site spelled cermet and on the MIC showroom spelled cermel, so this site uses only the parallel form: metal-ceramic material (spelled cermet on the official site and cermel on the MIC showroom). No detail page is built for that material, and no page on this site picks one spelling and treats it as the settled name.
Where the detail lives, and where it stops
Detail on this site means the series table on the strand page and the application areas on the applications overview page. The applications overview lists the areas named by the sources, such as bridges, railways, highways, tunnels, airports, power stations, and building and geotechnical works, without adding performance wording, because no performance wording is given for those areas. A buyer who needs performance data for a specific application should ask for it in the inquiry.
The standards guide explains the role of the named standards without turning a name into a compliance statement. GB/T5224-2014 and ASTM A416/A416M:2012 are named on the MIC product page for the strand series, and other standard names appear as mentions only. Naming a standard in an inquiry is the correct way to turn a mention into a project requirement, and the guide shows how to do that without assuming that any document is already held.
